How long will my printing take?

Different items will take longer than others depending of the type of processes used but as a general rule, your printing should be ready 3-5 days after you approve the artwork. This time frame may extend in busy times or for more complex jobs.

What is the outdoor life of vinyl signs?

Vinyl prints will last up to 3 years without lamination. UV lamination will extend the lifetime of prints in harsh positions. Signs using "cut vinyl" will have a longer life but there are limitations with shading and intricate logos.

What happens if my printing is wrong when it arrives?

If you have sent "print Ready" artwork we will print it exactly as you have sent it without any changes so it is important that you check it thoroughly before you send it. If we are preparing your artwork we will always send you an electronic proof. This is your opportunity to check that everything is correct and you can ask us to make any changes at this stage. It is very important that you check the artwork proof including spelling, phone numbers, addresses etc sent to you as once you have approved the artwork , this will be the file that goes to print & we cannot be responsible if you have missed any errors. It is important to note that different printing processes and finishes may alter the  colour of the finished item.

Can I leave my Vehicle Magnets on the vehicle indefinately?

No - vehicle magnets must be removed each week and the vehicle cleaned and dried before replacing them. They should only be put on vehicles with a sound surface as moisture can be trapped under them if the surface is not smooth.

Will the printed colours look the same as they do on my computer screen?

Probably not. Monitors are all configured differently so it is unlikely that the colours on the screen will print the same colour. The same colour printed on different substrates (vinyl, paper, card etc) may also ary slightly in colour. The finish of the item (matt or gloss) can also affect the final colour.  A reference colour using PMS values is helpful to match colours as close as possible or we have colour books available at our office.

What is the difference between RGB & CMYK colours?

CMYK colours are used for printing and RGB colours are generally used for monitors. When printed, RGB colours will usually be very dull and dark.

Why don't you have EFTPOS or Credit Card facilities?

Banks are charging an exhorbitant amount in fees for these services so in order to keep our prices as low as possible and avoid the need to pass on increased material costs we have decided to delete this service. We think this is a better option than using cheaper materials. We take Cash, Direct Deposit, Cheque or Money Order.

Can I order my labels on-line?

At this stage we do not offer this service. Because there are so many applications for labels we feel it is important that we have personal contact with our clients to ascertain their exact requirements. There are too many variances in printing and signage media that it is important that the correct substrate is matched for the individual job.
